Peggy Allen -------------------------------------------------------------- Peggy Allen is a partner in the television production company, Allen/Nee Productions. Clients of Allen/Nee Productions have included InStyle Magazine, Time Inc.'s Parenting Group, NBC Entertainment, CBS Station Group, Hearst New Media, Children's Television Workshop, PAX TV, TV Food Network, CNN Newsource, Bloomberg TV, and Meredith Broadcasting and Harpo Productions. Peggy was most recently at Lifetime Television where for three years she was Vice President of Programming and Production. At Lifetime she was responsible for all reality programming and brought the network three years of record breaking ratings increases, plus the coveted Golden Cable Ace Award. Under her leadership, the network developed and produced such events and programs as Lifetime Applauds the Fight Against Breast Cancer, Our Home, Biggers and Summers, The Main Ingredient, Kids These Days, Final Take and Carly Simon at Grand Central Station. Peggy is the author of BLOCK PARTIES AND POCKER NIGHTS: RECIPES AND IDEAS FOR GETTING AND STAYING CONNECTED WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS (Clarkson Potter). Peggy is married to Todd Allen and they live with their two children, Katie and Lori, in Wilmette, IL. |
